Hampshire Shakespeare Company presents The Toasted Cheese Players in a Comically Dramatic Reading of Lewis Carroll’s hilarious nonsense poem, “The Hunting of the Snark: An Agony in Eight Fits” at 7:00 pm, on Thursday, February 28th at the Jones Library, 43 Amity St., Amherst, MA.
Refreshments will be served. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, there will be a Silly Silent Auctionof items you just MIGHT decide to bid on, or you can recycle that odd gift that you didn’t really want.

"The Hunting of the Snark (An Agony in 8 Fits
)" is a nonsense
poem written by
Lewis Carroll in 1842, and describes an impossible voyage with most unlikely characters to find an unimaginable horrid creature. Carroll fans will recognize borrowings from “Jabberwocky” in the work. The HSC production was adapted and directed by John Bollard.
